Diane Dargay

I have owned and loved Gordon Setters since 1986 when I purchased our first one “Baron” from a pet shop as our Irish Setter had died. He was the reason I got into obedience because he was a terror to walk and the come command was non existent in his vocabulary. He did achieve his Companion dog (CD) title in obedience keeping up through many classes at the age of 3. Since then, I try to have 3 dogs at a time in my home for companions.I have achieved many titles in Obedience,Rally,Flyball,Agility,Scentwork,Barn Hunt,Hunting,Lure coursing and volunteer with my dogs as a therapy dogs for almost 30 years. My dogs are  Breed Champions. I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen(CGC)/Trick Dog evaluator and also a therapy dog certification evaluator for Bright and Beautiful therapy dogs. My biggest joy is to see dogs succeed and watch when the “light bulb”goes on in a new exercise. Each dog needs to be trained toward their personality and there is no” one size fits all “in my training. Happy dogs are what I like to see.
