Game On! – a game-based obedience class!

We have a GAMES-BASED OBEDIENCE CLASS starting October 23rd!

This is a FUN class which is not geared toward any competitions or titles.

You will work on elements of obedience through playing structured games. We have fun games such as Puppy Ping Pong, where you will work on stays and recalls, Temptation Tower, where you will work on leave it and recall and Musical Chairs!

These games will help you firm up elements of obedience such as heeling, recall, distance handling, impulse control, focus on the handler, dealing with distractions, leash work, socialization, and others.

We will have a scorecard for each team and the winning team will win a small prize at the end of the course! Come join our class and have some fun with your bestie!!

COME FLYBALL WITH US!!!

Have you ever wanted to try FLYBALL???? It’s an exciting, high-energy game you play with your dog and 3 other TEAMS! Your dog will need to have a SOLID RECALL. What that means is that your dog has to be able to come back to you when called, even with distractions all around. If you think your dog is a good candidate for FLYBALL, COME TAKE A CLASS WITH US!!!

We have a NEW CLASS STARTING Monday, September 8 at 7:30PM !!! Sign up online!! See you there!

Noseworks and Obedience Drop-Ins!

We have added a 3-week Noseworks class to the line-up in August!! The dates are 8/4, 8/11, and 8/18. The beginner class will meet at 3:45-4:30 and the intermediate class will meet at 2:45-3:30. The tuition is $96.00. Please sign up online or give us a call at 910-392-2040!

Heads-up! We will be offering some Obedience drop-ins on Tuesdays at 6:30PM for $25.00 per drop-in. More information will follow shortly!

We have TWO Canine Good Citizen classes for Session 4!

For those teams who would like a little extra time to prepare for the Canine Good Citizen test, we have added a 5-week Canine Good Citizen prep class! It will meet on Fridays at 1:00PM for 5 weeks. The CGC test will be given on the 5th week! The fee is $165.00 for 5 classes and will be taught by Bonnie Berg-Eckhoff. Don’t forget, we also have our 3-week CGC class meeting on Mondays at 4:45PM taught by Diane Dargay! The 3-week class is for teams who feel they’re ready to take the CGC test and just need a little sprucing up before taking the test!
