Game On! – a game-based obedience class!

We have a GAMES-BASED OBEDIENCE CLASS starting October 23rd!

This is a FUN class which is not geared toward any competitions or titles.

You will work on elements of obedience through playing structured games. We have fun games such as Puppy Ping Pong, where you will work on stays and recalls, Temptation Tower, where you will work on leave it and recall and Musical Chairs!

These games will help you firm up elements of obedience such as heeling, recall, distance handling, impulse control, focus on the handler, dealing with distractions, leash work, socialization, and others.

We will have a scorecard for each team and the winning team will win a small prize at the end of the course! Come join our class and have some fun with your bestie!!

COME FLYBALL WITH US!!!

Have you ever wanted to try FLYBALL???? It’s an exciting, high-energy game you play with your dog and 3 other TEAMS! Your dog will need to have a SOLID RECALL. What that means is that your dog has to be able to come back to you when called, even with distractions all around. If you think your dog is a good candidate for FLYBALL, COME TAKE A CLASS WITH US!!!

We have a NEW CLASS STARTING Monday, September 8 at 7:30PM !!! Sign up online!! See you there!

Obedience Drop-Ins! Tuesdays at 6:30PM (7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19)

We are offering Obedience Drop-In Classes for students who have taken Obedience 2 or 3. We will be open for drop-in sessions to work on Obedience Skills and Drills on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 on July 29, August 5, August 12, and August 19. Each session is only $25, payable by cash or check. There is no commitment to a 5-week course.  These sessions will be for 50 minutes to an hour, and we will work on skills you learned in your previous classes.

Note from the instructor, Susan Suits: Come build your skills in a different style of class focusing on heeling, recall, and finishes. I may even throw in some advanced obedience skills :). I promise it will be fun and a bit different each week, so come give it a try.  For those who want to go to the next level by competing, we can take time to talk about ring readiness.

Beat the heat and come have some fun with your dog!
