I started training at Azalea Dog Training Club in January of 2018 with my street-dog named Ann Perkins – no special breed. We started competing in agility trials in July 2019 and by February 2020, we were competing at the Master Jumpers and Master Standard classes. We took a break for a year because of COVID. Ann Perkins achieved her MACH (Master Agility Champion) title on March 21, 2022 and she placed 18th in the nation at the AKC National Agility Championships in Ocala, Florida in April, 2022. I adopted a Chihuahua named Happy in June of 2021 and he started competing at the end of April, 2022 and as of October 2022, he is competing in the Master Standard and Excellent Jumpers classes.
Update: Ann Perkins made finals at the Westminster Master Agility Championships on May 11, 2024! She is currently working toward her Agility Grand Championship, having completed all of the requirements except for the FAST.
