I started competing in Scent Work in 2015 and have trained consistently since that time. I have competed in Scent Work with three different dogs and trained two others. I have participated in the following Scent Work organizations: National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW), C-WAGS, Performance Scent Dog, AKC, and Canine Performance Events, Inc. (CPE). Two of my dogs have achieved their NACSW ELT-CH title with my third dog competing in NACSW NW3. One dog received all NACSW element titles. Two of my dogs have AKC Master titles with my third dog competing in AKC Advanced. I attend Dogs of Course NACSW 5-day camps once or twice a year, train every week, and have attended numerous workshops with well-known Scent Work trainers.
I have owned and trained 12 of my own dogs in various dog sports. In addition to Scent Work, my dogs have titles in therapy, tricks, obedience/rally, barn hunt, agility, fit dog, and Canine Good Citizen and have trained in other dog sports including tracking, FCAT, and field.
